Welcome

Welcome to the US Production Challenge.
NEW DATES FOR THE MATCH ARE  OCT 22-24 2010

Summer Update

As the 4th of July is coming up fast so too is the Production Challenge. In the last two months the focus has been on promoting the match, both to shooters and to sponsors. As of now there are 6 new sponsors that are waiting to see how the match fills before thier final commitment, this is mostly becouse to the time frame of the match to the Nationals. To add to that, there is still an opening for the "Major Match Sponsor."  I also have been talking with a lot of shooters and a lot of plans are to sign up for fall matches around the end of July.

March Update

We are on track now with the stage design Challenge over and stages posted. Thanks greatly to my tech guy Matt without him I could never do this page. We are now turning our focus on sponsorships, and the quality promotion of our sponsors. I'm looking for people to help get the word out about the match. If you can help send me and E-mail and I can send you out some entry forms and match cards. Together we can make this match a great tool to expand USPSA and the competition firearm market.
Good Shooting and enjoy the beginning of the spring shooting season.

January "Match Update"

Wow what A day.  I'm sure that most everyone has heard that Nationals is on OCT 9-17 2010 and as you know that is when the Production challenge was to take place.  I just got off of the phone with Mr. Voigt. He has confirmed with me that the Back to Back Nationals is Oct 9-17 2010.

I know that there are many people who were wanting to come to the "Challenge" and I have a lot of entry's already here. I will be calling everyone personally to talk about the changes to the match. Refunds will be given, just tell me.

December update.

December has been a great month. The match hotel is final and the match RO's are almost full. I was surprised how many hotels in the Tulsa area did not want firearms in the hotels at all. Then I found the Radison hotel who has made a great effort to go out of the way to make "us" gun owners happy. The Radison has given a great discount and allowed the match to use the ballroom. They are also going to make sure that when you stay in one of there rooms that you will have a extra towel/rag for your firearm cleaning needs. Not much, but it is nice.

November Update

Welcome to November.  As thing progress with the match there are some things that will be changing.  Due to daylight savings time the squad format will not work, and will be updated to half day format. The entry form will be up Monday the 2nd due to some small tech problems. We have a few stages sent in by some of you they all look great but we still have room for more stages so keep em' coming.

September update

The 2009 USPSA Nationals are now complete and planning is now in full swing for the first US production Championship. The dates for the match have been set for October 15-17 2010.
Now we are taking stages designs for the Stage design Challenge.  The dead line is Feb 1 2010.
We are now officially posting information on Brian Enos and will be taking out ads in Front Sight for this match.
As of now there is $8,000 cash on the prize table with much more to come soon.

It's now the middle of June...

It's now the middle of June and in about three weeks or so I should have a range for the match. Things are starting to come together and if nothing bad happens it looks like the first US production championship will be in Tulsa OK at USSA.
I hope that everyone would take some time and enter the stage design challenge and that it will provide some exciting stages.  The Squad matrix is up, and yes there will only be 18 stages.  Stages 10 and 20 will be break stages.  I think this format will allow everyone to have a chance to plan out there stages.
